What Parents Are Saying

“My 6 year old son has LOVED his time in the Alameda Young Naturalist Club. Being outdoors and around a small group of kids is so great, especially during this crazy time. He can’t stop talking about the chickens and all the fun games he has learned. Every week he starts counting down the days until he gets to go play with David. Thanks AYNC for starting such a wonderful program!!”

“Both of my extremely different kids found something they loved about their time with David at Alameda Young Naturalist Club. Lilly (age 9) loved that she could be with her friends in a safe and nurturing environment where her endless questions were answered with knowledge and kindness. Arthur (age 5) loved running around exploring the island of Alameda and building things with real tools! For me, the best part of Alameda Young Naturalist Club was that my kids came home dirty and tired which is how I know they had a great time and played hard!”

“My child has found AYNC to be an engaging, safe, and enriching experience. I delight in hearing him recount the many adventures of the day from feeding a goat, chopping potatoes to cook over a fire, building a shelter, practicing walking on a slack line, playing fun physical games, and walks to the bird sanctuary. He has learned so much from David in a short amount of time. The ANYC has been the perfect anodyne for many months spent indoors and online, offering a cooperative and nurturing environment wrapped in gentle, loving and knowledgeable leadership from David and Amy. I'm so glad we found ANYC!”
